THE EARTH IS A SCHOOL

The earth is a school for everyone who lives on it.  We are all here to learn.  This is deep down  learning that touches the core of our being.  This is learning on the level of human consciousness.  It is happening all of the time.  If we are here, we are learning whether we are aware of it or not.  We have no choice in this.  It’s built into the situation of being alive.

The earth is a teaching machine.  Life on earth is perfect for promoting our learning.  It provides a level playing field that is ruled by a few consistent, unvarying principles.

They are: Every thought or action has consequences.  They spread like the ripples in a still pond expanding from the splash point of a stone.   We get our own consequences.

Everything is conscious. There are no animate and inanimate objects. All of “reality” is a sea of consciousness involved in a constant rolling boil of vibration.  The sea is self aware.

Everything is connected to everything else.  Separateness is a myth.  There is only the sea of consciousness that is made up of patterns within patterns of what we call “energy”.

Thoughts attract similar thoughts.  What I give out comes back.  What goes around comes around.  Think “boomerang”.

There are no “accidents”.  I have attracted everything that happens to me in my life with my thoughts, conscious or unconscious.

Only I can create in my experience.  No one can do anything to me without my involvement.  Nor can I create in the experience of anyone else.  There are no victims. I am safe.  We are all safe.

The “reality” that I know is perceptual and personal.  What I see as reality is a compelling total immersion visual, auditory, olfactory, gustatory, kinesthetic illusion. It is what my brain assembles from the vibratory inputs from my senses as they are filtered through my beliefs. If I change my thoughts (beliefs), I change my world.

The circumstances of my life are a constant printout of my dominant thoughts.  I can know what I believe by looking at what I am getting.  This is my report card.

My emotions are my guidance system.  I can tell instantly if a thought or action is in my best interest by whether it feels good or feels bad.  This is my compass.

And that’s it!  Class is in session.  Take your seat.

How To Get What You Want

This post is a distillation of my earlier one. I wrote it to serve as the introductory text for a workshop that I conduct called "Manifesting 101". It is a short outline, simplified for easy digestion, but it captures the gist of what I believe to be true about human reality. It is the quick start section of an operator's manual for human life.

We live in a vibratory universe. Everything is vibration or patterns of moving energy, even us. Physics tells us that matter is mostly empty space. What we call “reality” is the interpretation of vibrations that our senses detect. The “solid” reality that we perceive is an illusion much like a dream.

Thoughts are patterns of vibration that we emit. These patterns attract other similar patterns of energy. As more and more like thoughts clump together their power grows until they begin to appear in the experience, the physical world of the thinker. This is called manifestation.

Everything that we experience in our world began as thought. Manifestation is congealed or solidified thought that has been held in the mind of the thinker long enough.

What has been created by thought can be changed by thought.

You have the power to choose, change and direct your thoughts.

You can cause, attract or allow the manifestation of whatever you wish.

We, as beings, are patterns of energy. We are pure non-physical energy that has chosen to become physical on Earth for the purpose of having new experiences, making new choices and experiencing joy.

Our purpose on Earth as well as in non-physical realms is to conceive desires, manifest them and experience the joy of their creation. This is our only job.

No matter what we do, we cannot get it wrong.

Every experience causes us to learn, or expand, and to find desires for improvement. We are desire creators. Our “work” will never be done.

We are eternal beings. We cannot “die”. The part of us that has chosen to be physical simply drops out of this manifestation when we have had enough of it. We don’t go anywhere. There is nowhere else to go.

Time and space are human constructs. There is only one place which we can call “here” or “is”. The time is always “now”. We have no choice other than to be here now. The only choice we have is whether we will focus our attention and realize and inhabit the immediacy of the moment or not

You are a powerful creator. You are creating your reality from moment to moment and you always have been.

Where you are is perfect, exactly as it is.

Your dreams and desires are perfect. You can bring them into manifestation by focusing your thoughts. What you pay attention to is what you get. If you keep your attention pointed in the direction of your desires, they will show up in your life.

There are simple tools and techniques to help you to do just that.

I can teach you those tools.

How Can Thoughts Have Power?

How can something as seemingly insubstantial as a thought have the power to affect the seemingly solid physical world?

The answer lies in the word “seemingly”. Both the apparent fleeting evanescence of thought and the apparent substantiality of physical reality are just that, apparent. When we look more closely, thoughts and stones are more alike than they are different.

When we delve into physics, we find that the atom that we once visualized as a miniature solar system of tiny discrete BBs whizzing about in concentric orbits in empty space has been reconceptualized. It is now seen as arrangements of packets of energy called quanta. The subatomic particle has morphed into a probability wave. We can’t pin it down. We can know its mass or its location but not both. As our instruments become more powerful and precise, the subject appears fuzzier and more complex. It threatens to disappear entirely into a fog of noise rather than a clear picture of anything. Our subject/object mentality is dissolving before our eyes. We find energetic patterns in constant flux and nothing else.

The universe is vibrational in nature. It consists entirely of patterns of energy. There is nothing “solid” about the physical world that we perceive. Solidity exists only in our perceptions. Unbelievable as it may seem, we are making it all up, moment by moment by interpreting the vibrations that impinge on our senses and declaring these interpretations to be “reality”.

Thoughts are subtle patterns of energy. They are vibrations of certain frequencies. Humans, as beings or centers of consciousness are creators and emitters of thoughts. These thought vibrations attract other thoughts of a similar frequency of vibration. As like attracts like, a growing mass of vibratory energy builds up. Greater and greater power accumulates until the mass of concentrated thought congeals into what we call “matter”. This is called “manifestation”. Thought energy has crossed the threshold of “reality”. Now we have our stone. It all started with a thought.

The same thing is true of the universe. It all started with a thought.
